"Aye Ibn e Adam
Ek teri chahat hai aur ek meri chahat hai
Per ho ga wohi jo meri chahat hai
Buss ager tu ney apney app ko superd ker deya us key jo teri chahat hai
Tu mein buqsh doon ga Tujh Ko wo jo teri Chahat Hai
Mager aager tuney Nafarmani ke us ke jo meri chahat hai
Tu mein thaka doon ga tujhey us mein ji teri chahat hai
Phir wahi ho ga jo meri chahat hai."

It means that accept the will of God. If you submit yourself to God's will, he will grant you your wishes. But if you disobey your wishes will not be granted and you will fail in your struggle. So the bottom line is that whether you accept or deny everything will happen according to God's will. Hota wahee hay jo munzoor-e-khuda hota hay.

Errrmm interesting passage there. Luxor what i understand from it is that its God talking to Man about desires.

i.e. man has desires as does God, if man pursues his desires God is forgiving however if man is disobedient, in the end it will be what God desires.

hehehe, yeah that probably makes as much sense as the Urdu one did!! But khair...i think its contradictory becuase "God forgives man for pursuing his desires but if man is disobedient God will do as He desires" But has'nt God already forgiven man?

maybe im interpreting it wrong 'biggrin.gif'

what is Thaka???

well, as u know it literally mean Tired...

but here it means "defeat"
....so supposedly God is saying that if u do what YOU like [n ignore my wishes] ... i won let u succeed:)

And to make this sound more "Religion Section" like, all types of "permissable" poetry are commendable as long as it does not pre-occupy a person to the extent that all his time is spent in compiling poems and there is no time for recitation of the Holy Quraan and to educate himself on other deeni matters which are more important. (Roohul Ma'aani vol.10 pg. 220 & 226, Surah Ash-shu'araa, verse 219-227)

Overall, poetry are a good medium for praisal.

I dont think God wanted us to do what he liked. heh. I wouldnt want any of MY sentient creations to DO what I like. I want them to be self reliant, self sufficient. Gods' will is overrated. lol.
Jeera Blade
Samira , i wish u could understand someday....
