does anyone here know the difference between a pecan and a walnut? are they just two different names for the same thing? unsure.gif

Pecan is a pecan and Walnut is an akhrote. Pecan taste a lot different and are much oily in texture.

pecan is different and valnut is different, they have different flavours and taste, pecan is a softer nut, a little elongated in size, valnut is slightly bitter.

roOq you are mistaken. There are lots of walnuts (akhrot) in America.

Walnuts and Pecans are two different nuts. They may belong to the same family but are definitely different in texture and taste.

Walnuts are nuts found on the wall, whereas pecans come from peacocks.
