does anyone here know the difference between a pecan and a walnut? are they just two different names for the same thing?

Pecan is a pecan and Walnut is an akhrote. Pecan taste a lot different and are much oily in texture.

pecan is different and valnut is different, they have different flavours and taste, pecan is a softer nut, a little elongated in size, valnut is slightly bitter.

Walnuts and Pecans are two different nuts.
