haha good 'smile.gif' here the publications who used to publish ibn-e-safi's work on the first place has closed maybe but another called kitaab wala is republishing the stuf monthly as digest numa and it contains two of faridi and two of imran novels, sometimes they take out special numbers like jurm-o-saza and ibn-e-safi's barsi number.
Have you read kale chiraagh in the one thressia showed up 4 the first time ?

I am a huge IBNE SAFI fan.... My favorite novel was one in which Imran and Faridi were together... there was only one written by him.. Zmeen kai badal if I am not mistaken.

Sugar bank, lobo lila, dairh matwaley, Anything on Shikral, Threesia Bumble bee of Bohemia, man Shumayla, you have stirred up a lot of old memories.. I am an Ibne Safi freak.

Mazhar Kaleem MA used to be a lawyer and maybe still is in Multan. My dad is a Judge and was posted there once.. He used to appear in my Dad's court all the time and I met him personally. That was in 92-93 I think. His work is cool but Ibne Safi is definitely the best... Nothing comes close to his characters and stories. I am going to Pakistan in 4 days and thanks for reminding me, I might bring a couple of those books MP just mentioned.

I read Ibn e safi long ago.. Loved his work on Imran.. marvelous.. No one can match his sense of humor. Mazhar kaleem go a bit too idealistic. safi kept Imran in real world.

What exactly do you mean by your statement. Why were you surprised. You posted that as if you have known me for a long time and that you are sure what my likes and dislikes are.... Do I come off as a sort of "UN-Ibne Safi" type person or did you have some other reasons for reaching that conclusion about my likes or dislikes?
